Rev. Kelly helps us explore one aspect of covenant - our promise to stay connected to each other in our congregation. At our church, we do a good job of it! And, like all humans, we are promise making, promise breaking, promise re-making creatures (Martin Buber). So if we accidentally break our promise to walk together in love and loyalty, how do we restore covenant? The sermon provides some very practical tips that can be used at church and in all your relationships (family, work, etc.). When we live in covenant, we can offer courageous love to the world! The handout, "A Model for Covenantal Conversations," is found here on our site.
Rev. Kelly Dignan helped us explore how staying on the path to find meaning and truth is often hard to do. We need spiritual practices, study of our sources, dialogue in community, and commitment to action. When we do these things, we are transformed. We find the gold inside us. We find our golden thread.
