Colorado Energy Freedom Tour - TUESDAY OCT.24TH, 2017 NOT Sept. 24th 2017
Many citizens, both conservatives and progressives, are seeking solutions to manage climate change and energy risk that do not grow government or overly-burden the economy. Citizens’ Climate Lobby backs a legislative proposal that is bipartisan, creates jobs, market based and revenue neutral. CCL supports citizens to work with their members of Congress and within their communities to build the political will needed to support pragmatic solutions. Presented by: Bill Barron - Regional Coordinator for CCL’s seven state "Wild West" region covering MT, WY, UT, CO, NM, AZ, and NV. Dedicated to finding a non-partisan approach for taking action to keep climate change within livable limits. Hosted By: Greeley, CO Citizen’s Climate Lobby Volunteers PLEASE CONTACT: Hollis Berendt, Citizen’s Climate Lobby Volunteer 970-590-3289 or visit http://tinyurl.com/cotour *A note from Bill*: The Greeley visit is one stop of a 5-city eastern Colorado tour, dubbed the “Colorado Energy Freedom Tour,” which is intended to engage citizens and leaders around Colorado in a productive discussion with their communities and members of Congress. Citizens’ Climate Lobby is a grassroots advocacy organization with over 340 chapters across the U.S. that is generating political will to manage climate change risk. The group is working with both political parties to create a carbon fee that returns all of the revenue to households, thereby not growing government while allowing the market to find the most cost-effective ways to reduce emissions.
