RE: Prep for the Water Communion Sunday, August 23rd- Addressing Childhood Asthma in Northern Colorado Class See Details Below! Other News and Reminders Upcoming Addressing Childhood Asthma in Northern Colorado Class: Join us on Sunday August 23rd for a free education session on childhood asthma. Lunch will be provided for those that attend. This session will last approximately 1 hour and will provide information on how to respond to a child that is having an asthma attack. The class will follow our regular Sunday service. This class is a culmination of two years of research by a local registered pediatric nurse, Tammy Coiner (co-worker of Shell Hanselman). Tammy is completing her doctorate degree in nursing at Regis University and has over 30 years of nursing experience. Most of Tammy’s career has been spent caring for critically ill or injured infants and children. This session is free of charge and open to all. Anyone who cares for children will benefit from this class, parents, grandparents, teachers, Sunday school teachers, care takers etc. You never know when you will be in a situation in which a child’s life depends on you to recognize the early signs of an asthma attack. This should be a fun and informative event. Tammy would like to invite all of you and anyone you would like to bring with you for this class. This will complete her two year educational journey and she is looking forward to working with you. Please sign up for the class on the sign up sheets located in the church foyer, an accurate head count will assist in ordering the lunch for this event.
