Sunday, August 28th- Faith and Authenticity- Stephanie Mott A transgender woman's journey through the intersections of faith and authenticity, believing that they are mutually exclusive, and discovering that they are very much the same. Stephanie is the Board president of the UU Fellowship in Topeka, Kansas. She started a statewide transgender education project, and Transgender Faith Tour. Lutheran Family Services Refugee & Asylee Programs was given garden space for our refugees in Greeley to use! We have a garden expert helping us with this project and she recommended that we ask for the following to be donated: Seeds: pea pods, summer squash, lettuce, pumpkins, beans, spinach, carrots, onions, small potatoes Starts: tomatoes, herbs, eggplant, broccoli, peppers, cucumbers, lemongrass, rosemary, basil, cilantro, garlic Perennials: chives, sage, oregano, tarragon, grapes, strawberries Supplies: gloves, baskets, weed tools, cutters, bleach spray, fertilizer, rakes, hand tools/shovels, rope, lattice, 2 tarps, wire tralices, hoses, waterproof sign-in book If you would like to donate, please email Sarah Gostenik at sarah.gostenik@lfsrm.org, thank you!
