 What's happening at the UUCG? December 19th-25th
Thursday, December 22nd- Newsletter Submissions Due 5pm Saturday, December 24th- Christmas Eve Family Candlelight Service with Rev. Barry Bloom at 5:00pm Everyone is invited to this informal invitation to Christmas. We will sing carols, light candles, and munch on a few goodies. Then go home to our families for the evening. May we come together as a spiritual community on this special night. Sunday, December 25th- A Warm Place to Gather with Julie Miller An informal gathering together on Christmas Day for reflection, meditation, poetry and song. There will be no RE offered. The focus will be on the holidays and "coming to our senses". An exploration of our winter holiday season memories and thoughts through our basic senses- touch, taste, smell, sight, and sound. Come join us for coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and nibbles as we gather in a warm place! Other News and Reminders Thank you Kristina Bain, for the 3 beautiful Christmas Wreaths in the sanctuary - the perfect finishing touch to our Holiday décor! Updating the Directory: January 8th DEADLINE for corrections It’s that time of year again! We are updating our directory. Please let us know of any correction in the draft directory. There will be a physical draft copy for edits after the services. Click HERE for the draft copy of the directory for review! No need to respond if everything is correct. Please let us know if you want to be removed or of any corrections by emailing Meghan at office_manager@greeleyuuc.org! RESPOND BY January 8th. The directory will be published on January 13th! Thank you! Grocery Certificate Volunteers Needed! Due to a change in family life Rosemary Edmiston must relinquish her duties as a grocery certificate volunteer and Hollis Berendt wishes to spend more time with her family- thus it is time for a personnel change. We are hopeful that several will volunteer creating a team of volunteers with a coordinator so that the duties will not fall on one or two people all of the time. The coordinator or at least one volunteer should have access to a computer. The grocery certificate service provides added revenue for the church, and works closely with the UUCG Treasurer and Board.
