We will be giving gifts to our family, Catalina and her daughter, Lisbeth and to SEVA. The books or stuffed animals for SEVA need to be brought back to the church on Dec. 14th. This gift will be given to a child involved in the SEVA community. SEVA is a local group of (mostly) retired teachers who work with young parents and their children. The primary focus of SEVA is to foster early literacy skills. Multiple books and stuffed animals will be given to local children at the Children's Fiesta held on December 20th at the Rodarte Center. The Committee on Shared Ministry is responsible for taking the pulse of how our ministries are fulfilling that purpose. We also assess the spiritual health of the congregation. In order to do so, we will be conducting a "Heartbeat Survey." At church on December 7, 14 and 21, we will distribute a survey that includes five short questions. We ask that you complete the survey once sometime during those three weeks. If for some reason you are not able to attend church on at least one of those days, email us so that we can get you a copy of the survey. Email: ssgotchey@comcast.net Results of the survey will be shared in the January newsletter. Thanks in advance, Your Committee on Shared Ministry: Shelley Gotchey, Jim Shearer, Shaileen Snider.
