Sunday, February 8- What is Love? Rev. Audette Fulbright
Rev. Audette joins us from Cheyenne as she and Rev. Kelly "exchange pulpits" today. Audette is passionate about keeping her sermon content a mystery- believing two things: one, that we come to church in order to live our faith in community, and two, that every preacher must have the opportunity to respond to the last-minute call of the spirit as well as the needs of the day. So join her this Sunday as we discover together "What is Love?"

Other News and Reminders

Let’s Create Some Magic! That’s the theme for our pledge canvass this year. Not sure what a pledge canvass is? It’s the process we go through to raise money for our church
  • February 7th will be our annual canvass party. You should have recieved an official invitation through eVite. If you did not receive one, be sure to let Meghan Groves know: office_manager@greeleyuuc.org. Be thinking about a costume you can wear, since Harry Potter is the theme! (optional). We are going to have a wonderful, wizardly time. Don't miss it!
  • Also, if you want to donate a pot of chili, think about how you might name it. (Yes - the chili competition lives on this year - with two prizes based on taste and name!) If you want to donate a pot of chili, contact Hollis Berendt hollisbeth28@gmail.com or Danelle Beauvais daughterofavalon@msn.com.
Harry Potter finds a loving community at Hogwarts - a community that isn't his biological family, but one that has his back in every way. Through classes and experiences at Hogwarts, Harry is transformed and able to transcend the difficulties life presents.
Does that sound familiar? Unitarian Universalist Church of Greeley does the same for us! As an expression of our gratitude for this community that has our back and helps us transform, let’s create some magic!

February 10th 6:30-9:00- Getting to Know UU.
Dinner and childcare are provided.  Join Rev. Kelly at the church for an interactive session that provides an overview of Unitarian Universalism and our church here in Greeley.
