Kelly Dignan On this Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend, Rev. Kelly will explore the role of hope in creating the Beloved Community. She will share Joanna Macy’s work on Active Hope along with a process for creating a more sustainable and compassionate world. and after service: Let’s Create Some Magic! That’s the theme for our pledge canvass this year. Not sure what a pledge canvass is? It’s the process we go through to raise money for our church. We’ll kick it off by having a fun event after church on Sunday, January 18th. All children and adults are invited and encouraged to come. Bring a sack lunch and join us for the movie Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. The church will provide popcorn and drinks.

Kelly with our church banner at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. March and Celebration 2015. The march begins at 10:30 a.m. and travels from the Greeley Chamber of Commerce building (7th Avenue and 9th Street) to the Union Colony Civic Center (701 10th Avenue), where the celebration begins at 11:00 a.m. with live music, poetry and guest speaker Dr. Avis Jones-DeWeever.
