Has Anybody Here Seen My Old Friend Martin?- Rev. Barry Bloom
The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. transformed how we see the world. Through his fearless leadership of the Civil Rights Movement and his courageous stand against the Vietnam War, he demonstrated leadership that galvanized millions of us to action. Even more, he showed what it meant to love. We will remember him in this service, the day before his birthday is celebrated.

Other News and Reminders

Congregational Workshop “Communication skills that create connection in a spiritual community.”
Open to everyone, this program, held from 12 noon to 3:00 pm on Sunday February 5th in the RE room, will identify what works to promote connection and meaning within a spiritual community.  It is a beginning to assist in leading us to greater unity and connection in our unfolding future as a church community. As well as an aid to each of us working to create connection within our circle of family and loved ones.
There will be a pot luck lunch from 11:30 until 12.
The program will be led by Rev Barry Bloom.

Grocery Certificate Volunteers Needed!
Due to a change in family life Rosemary Edmiston must relinquish her duties as a grocery certificate volunteer and Hollis Berendt wishes to spend more time with her family- thus it is time for a personnel change.
We are hopeful that several will volunteer creating a team of volunteers with a coordinator so that the duties will not fall on one or two people all of the time. The coordinator or at least one volunteer should have access to a computer.
The grocery certificate service provides added revenue for the church, and works closely with the UUCG Treasurer and Board.
Volunteers need to contact Rosemary, Hollis, Erika Coan or Reverend Barry Bloom.

How can I contact Rev. Barry Bloom? If you need to get into contact with Rev. Barry Bloom please email him at revbarrybloom@gmail.com or call him at 303-273-9908.
