Thursday, March 17th- The Women's Circle 7pm
The Women's Circle is for women from 16 to 106. We discuss issues that women face daily in their homes and places of work.
Suggested topics: What do we mean by living morally? When is it time to quit? Regaining Your Balance, Etc. You bring up the issues, we share. Coordinated by Dr. Tandie Mitchell and Rev. Sylvia Falconer in the church sanctuary!

Saturday, March 19th- Citizen's Climate Lobby 11am

Saturday, March 19th- Annual Pledge Canvass Event 5pm
Fulfilling Our Hearts Desires, with Family, Food & Friendship! Please join us on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 5:00pm as we kick off our annual pledge canvass. We are asking that everyone bring one of your family's favorite or special foods to our potluck.
Be prepared to tell the story of why this food is important in your family. Maybe there's a simple reason? Or does it relate to your heritage? Did this item originate with one special person in the family? Who taught you to make it and when? Is it eaten at a special time of year?
Let's connect heart-to-heart with church friends around the potluck table by telling our family stories! Afterward, we'll have some fun playing UU Jeopardy, and build on our spring theme of our Hearts' Desires for UUCG, discussing ways we can FULFILL Our Hearts' Desires!
This will be a child-friendly event.

Sunday, March 20th- A Reflection on Being Good- Rev. Howell Lind
The message of this service will focus on how we might fully live out of our Unitarian Universalist values in partnership with others and in the complexity of the world we face every day.

Other News and Reminders

Easter Egg Hunt- We are going on an Easter Egg Hunt for cans and non-perishable food for the Food Bank, so we need all of you to bring these items and place them in the box in the Foyer. Tuna is especially good, because children can handle those cans. Children will exchange the cans for a goodie bag.

Serving With Grace Correction
The last page of Serving With Grace was missing last week. Click HERE for the corrected version with Building and Grounds added.  Please see where your heart lies and sign up on the bulletin board in the back of the Sanctuary.  Thank you in advance. Our Ministry Groups are run as Small Group Ministries where you get to know your fellow congregants.  There are also tasks that can be done throughout the year or for short term.  Please direct your questions to Hollis or any person that has served on any of these Ministry Groups in the past.

In recognition of Women's month (March) Chalice Arts has installed an exhibit by our Minister Emeritus, Rev. Sylvia Falconer of collages and a few paintings entitled   "All Women plus a few Men".  All of these pieces except one are for sale.  If you are interested in buying please contact Judy Meyers or Meghan, making your check out to the church.  We will keep 10%.  All work must remain up until the end of the exhibit which will be April 25.  Hope you enjoy the show!

UUCG Pagan Group- The UUCG Pagan group welcomes anyone who has an interest in exploring Earth centered traditions and rituals. We meet on or around the 8 sacred days or Sabbats of the year. We give thanks and praise with a short ritual followed by a potluck dinner or snacks. If you are interested please email us at uucgpagans@gmail.com or contact Danelle Beauvais or Rhalina Noftsker.

Weld County Relay for Life 2016 is Saturday June 4th 2016.  It is a wonderful community event to raise funds for the American Cancer Association. It is also a wonderful way to deepen our presence in our community.  If anyone is interested in participating and being a part of a team please contact Danelle Beauvais by email daughterofavalon@msn.com. Organizational meetings are starting soon! Who Wants a Vacation?
I do, and I’d love for you to join me for the Western Unitarian Universalist Life Festival aka WUULF, at the Ghost Ranch in beautiful northern New Mexico, June 20-26.  The theme for this year is “Fun, Facts and Faith.” We will have three theme speakers:  Camilla Dodson, the daughter of a Lesotho chief will bring the Fun; Sherry Burr, an expert on international law will bring the facts; and Nathan Mesnikoff, UU minister and director of spiritual care and volunteer services at Memorial Hospital, will bring the faith
In addition to the theme speakers, our own WUULFies offer plenty of fun, crafty, educational, and thoughtful workshops.  We gather every morning for spiritual centering with our camp minister, Beth Chronister, and again in the afternoon for social hour where we share fellowship over food and spirits of the liquid kind.  Throughout the day, you can choose to attend workshops, hike the epic landscape of Ghost Ranch, or just kick back under the Wisdom Tree.  We will play games, tell stories, tie dye, drum, dance and sing throughout the week.
If you have school age kids, WUULF is a fantastic opportunity to spend time as a family, and also enjoy some grown-up time while the young ones are in their own programs.
Registration is now open for WUULF 2016 and will remain
open until May 1 or until camp fills.  Scholarships are available.  Check out our website WUULF.org for more information and registration forms.  Please feel free to contact me if you have questions at jeverham@frii.com 970-224-5443

If you have weekly announcements you'd like to submit,  be sure to email them to the Office Manager (office_manager@greeleyuuc.org) by 10am on the Tuesday of the week you'd like them to be in the announcements!
