Other News and Reminders Ministerial Resident Diana Update: Diana has been out of the office (and the pulpit) since breaking her ankle on October 24th. She is now able to work from home via email, phone, and video chat, but not yet able to be here physically. She is eager to be with us as soon as she is able to do so, but in the meantime she welcomes both contact from individuals with questions or needs, and invitations to participate in meetings by speakerphone or video. Email is the best first contact (diana@greeleyuuc.org), and then depending on the situation she will either continue the conversation by email or set up a phone appointment or meeting participation. Invitation to Adult RE at Foothills Unitarian Church Members and friends of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Greeley are invited to participate in any of the Adult RE offerings at our multi-site partner church, Foothills Unitarian Church in Fort Collins. Click HERE to see the many wonderful options. Place a Service Leaf on the Task Tree Please notice the task tree on the divider by the sound booth. Please put your name on a leaf indicating where you would like to help. There are also leaves with no task. If there is something you'd like to do, but don't see that particular task, please write your name and the task that you would like to share. We thank you for your gifts of your time. We cannot run the church with out you. Do you like kids? Well then, you’re going to love the children we have at UUCG. Our Religious Education program (RE) is growing, and we could use your help. Please consider teaching a Sunday or two in the spring semester or volunteer to be a substitute or offer up your assistance for helping with our multi-generational services. You can choose to work with Primary or Intermediate aged students, the curriculum is well written and easy to follow, and our students are as diverse and interesting as our adults. Please add your name to the RE leaf on our volunteer tree.Contact Shelley Gotchey with any questions. Event by One Colorado-Freedom in Every Corner Tour! On Wednesday, December 2nd at 6pm at Unitarian Universalist Church of Greeley! We know there's still work to do until full, lived equality is realized for everyone. You know this already, too. Equal access to health care, safe schools for LGBT youth, removing barriers for transgender people, and making sure no one can claim their religion gives them permission to discriminate against LGBT people -- these are a few of the big problems that we're working to solve, but we can't do it alone. We'll be talking about what comes next, answering questions, and listening. Click HERE to RSVP! Partnership Information If you have any questions or thoughts about the partnership with Foothill and Greeley, we have a liaison group comprised of Karen Harder, board member from Foothills, all three ministers and Hollis Berendt, immediate past president of UUCG. Please contact Holllis with your comments, questions or thoughts. All information will be brought to the liaison meetings. If you have weekly announcements you'd like to submit, be sure to email them to the Office Manager (office_manager@greeleyuuc.org) by 10am on the Tuesday of the week you'd like them to be in the announcements!
