Inspired by the acclaimed book by Naomi Oreskes and Erik Conway, Merchants of Doubt takes audiences on a satirically comedic, yet illuminating ride into the heart of conjuring American spin. Filmmaker Robert Kenner lifts the curtain on a secretive group of highly charismatic, silver-tongued pundits-for-hire who present themselves in the media as scientific authorities- yet have the contrary aim of spreading maximum confusion about well-studied public threats ranging from toxic chemicals to pharmaceuticals to climate change.
Sunday, October 25th- The Spiritual Act of Forgiveness-

How is forgiveness a spiritual act? Who are we really doing it for, and what gifts does it bring?

Invitation to Adult RE at Foothills Unitarian Church
Members and friends of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Greeley are invited to participate in any of the Adult RE offerings at our multi-site partner church, Foothills Unitarian Church in Fort Collins. Click HERE to see the many wonderful options, and in October there's also a special event on Sunday the 25th of Pumpkin Carving at 5:30 pm.
Do you provide support for a friend or loved one? Here is support for YOU! Many of us provide support for a friend or loved one or family member. We may not think of ourselves as a “caregiver,” and yet this support can impact many facets of our lives. In order to sustain this support, we need to seek out support for ourselves. This is what Powerful Tools for Caregivers is all about. These sessions begin October 8th at 9:30 – 11:30, running for 6 sessions, and facilitated by church members of Foothills Unitarian Church. Please contact Rev. Gretchen Haley email@example.com for more information or sign up here.
Updated "Brown Bag with the Ministerial Resident"
Please note a schedule change for the Brown Bag lunch discussions with Diana. There will NOT be one on Tuesday, Oct. 27th, but there will be one from 11:30 - 12:30 on Tuesday, Nov. 3. NO RSVP needed--just bring your lunch to the church and chat with Diana!
Reminder: If you want to meet with Diana at a time other than one of the Brown Bag events, please schedule an appointment. She is typically in the office on Tuesdays, but sometimes has off-site meetings and would hate to miss you if you came by at one of those times! She can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Calling All Artists
A Task Tree is needed. What is a Task Tree? It is a tree with leaves that has tasks that need to be done in the church. We have many jobs, some large and some small, that need to be done. People can select the task that they would like to do to help out our church family. Who would like to design this tree? We were thinking that the tree could be on one panel of the screen that surrounds the sound booth. If you would like to make the tree, please contact Hollis.
From our Soul Matters collaborative, we offer these resources on our monthly theme of Letting Go. Click HERE for the resources!
Partnership Information If you have any questions or thoughts about the partnership with Foothill and Greeley, we have a liaison group comprised of Karen Harder, board member from Foothills, all three ministers and Hollis Berendt, immediate past president of UUCG. Please contact Holllis with your comments, questions or thoughts. All information will be brought to the liaison meetings.

King Soopers is the only card that can be refilled at King Soopers customer service and the church receives 5% of the refill.
