News for the Week of October 24th-30th
What's happening at the UUCG? October 24th-30th
Sunday, October 30th- Addiction: Why Does It Matter To UU's? - Rev. Ruth Rinehart
We live in an addictive culture. Whether or not we need freedom from alcohol and/or drugs, we walk every day in a wider world that begs escapism in addictive ways: work, money, sex, consumerism, materialism, entertainment. No shame. No guilt. Let's open our eyes and hearts.
About Rev. Ruth Rinehart: She was ordained by Jefferson Unitarian Church and Boulder Valley UU Fellowship on October 9th. She preached here in January of 2015. She lives in Golden with her husband, David, on their suburban homestead, and is working to build a UU addictions ministry in the Denver area.
