April 8th - “A New Beginning is Waiting”
Rev. Wendy Williams
One poet has said that in our hearts, there are new beginnings waiting to emerge. It turns out, the emergence is waiting on us. How do we invite new beginnings? RE: Principal 3 Growing in Many Ways



“Making Our Lives Worth While” – Workshop
How can we live more closely to what is of real worth in our lives? This workshop identifies the unique approach to worth each of us has, and helps us value one another’s approaches. Great for individuals and teams. Facilitated by Doug Stewart from Namaqua UU.

Choir 
Choir practices the 1st and 2nd Sundays of Every Month, after service, and perform on the 3rd Sunday of every month. If you enjoy singing, or want to try something new, please feel free to join. Thank you! Sam Henline, UUCG Accompanist.



 
Worship Committee 
The Worship Committee is busy making plans for summer services and we need YOU! If you are able to lend a hand this summer (either in planning services or leading them), please email the committee co-chairs and let us know: Brian Gaza (briangaza@mac.com) and Shelly Gaza (shelly.gaza@unco.edu). We're looking forward to hearing your ideas!


Chalice Arts
We are displaying new art from Deandra Eubanks & Kiela Cason this month, we are excited to share their art work titled: “Imagination”.


 Sunday Coffee Volunteers needed!

Other News and Reminders

The Book Club
We meet on the third Thursday of the month at 1 pm at Your Place Coffee. The selection for April 19 will be J. D. Vance's Hillbilly-Elegy . Anyone is welcome to drop in.



Sunday April 29th - Klezmer Band Concert and Lecture at 1:00, at UUCG 
The entire genre of Klezmer music was nearly wiped out during the Holocaust, but has seen a major revival in recent years.  ​Join Sam Henline's group Shmuel and the Mentshn for an afternoon concert and lecture about music by Jewish composers who died during the Holocaust and other marginalized groups who were almost erased from history by the Nazi regime. Featuring a selection from Dimitri Shostakovich's seventh symphony.  Invite your friends!



Volunteers Needed to Help with Klezmer Concert Reception
Please contact Hollis or Margaret to help with the reception for the Klezmer Band Concert. We need volunteers to provide a cheese platter, fruit platter, cookies, nuts, etc. We also need volunteers to help set up the reception and clean up after the reception. Thank you!

 Please Recycle
Have you Noticed Our (2) Blue Recycling Bins in the Church?  One is located by the North Entrance under our information station. The Other is located in the Barbara Bowles Room by the East entrance. 


Spring Clean Up
Come join us for our annual Spring Clean Up! There is plenty to do to help keep our church in great condition. May 5th 9am - Noon. Doughnuts and Coffee provided!

How can I contact Rev. Barry Bloom? Rev. Barry is in the Office every 2nd, 4th & sometimes 5th Tuesday of the month. Make an appointment with Margaret. Or emailrevbarrybloom@gmail.com or call him at 303-273-9908.  Rev. Barry Will be in the Office April 10th and April 24th.
