Sunday December 17th-  Choir Performance 9:20am
Sunday December 17th-  “The Light Of The World”
Rev. Barry Bloom
Jesus was described by many as the “light of the world.”  There was great hope that he, the Messiah, would change the world.  The poor would finally inherit the earth.  He was not actually born in the season that we celebrate.  Probably a spring baby.  Many of the mystical aspects of the birth story are more myth than “fact.”  But his followers started a religion that now counts more than a billion members worldwide.  Something important is true and right here.  We need listen. What does this mean for us as UU’s?
RE: Epiphany #4

Re: Space Availability:

Hello all!  I would like to make you aware of the church's availability on Sundays, after our usual 10:00 AM service.  Our renters will now be starting their services at 4:00 PM each Sunday.  The church will have availability for meetings / classes / events typically from 11:30 or 12:00 pm for church activities until approximately 3:30 PM - at the latest.  Of course, we will have inquiries from occasional renters, but consider making your meeting after our service.  The congregants are already here.  You have the space.  You STILL need to check with Margaret on availability, but please consider using the space. You may want to consider bringing something to eat for lunch to help tide you over for your meeting or activity.  Do keep in mind that the thirdSunday of the month, from 11:30 until usually 1:00 PM, you will find your Board of Trustees at work in the RE room.   Thank you,
Julie Miller
