Worship This Week Sunday Services: Our theme is balance
Tuesday December 24th at 5:30 pm:
I Heard the Bells (Christmas Eve)
The Unitarian poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow’s 1863 poem “I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day” reminds us what Christmas can mean in difficult times and will serve as the touchstone for Rev. Norris’ exploration on this special evening service. Our multi-generational celebration will be highlighted by choir performances and our traditional candle lit final hymn. The choir performance will commence during the Christmas Eve service.
Sunday December 29th
Annual Faith Review
Julie Miller will lead our congregation in the final service of the year, our Annual Faith Review. ( No RE Winter Break)

Pathways to Meaning & Membership Class

Designed for those new to our church, this class is designed to go over some of the basic history of Unitarian Universalism. It also helps to better understand our congregation and see how you my deepen your involvement while being great opportunity to meet others who are new to our church as well, but also have an interest in becoming more involved. Though it is not required for membership, it is highly recommend as a first step to considering membership. Offered about once every six weeks and taught by our minister, the class takes about 90 minutes. If you're interested in attending, please RSVP to Rev. Aaron or follow this link.

Everyone has done a great job of getting their materials for the faith flags that we want to display in our entry, but we’ve all been a little slow in bringing them back in. As the flags come back in, we intend to get them up and show what the community at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Greeley is all about. If you haven’t gotten your flag yet, contact Julie Miller or Michele Masters and they’ll arrange it. If you’ve got the material but haven’t brought it in, we want to see it! If you’re feeling a little intimidated by the whole artistic expression part, remember that Rev. Norris has some small stamps that you can use to make a flag without the need for much artistic skill; you’re welcome to use them after service!
Please bring non perishable foods to church to distribute to the Weld Food Bank. Most needed items are peanut butter, tuna fish, beans, pasta, rice, canned fruits and vegetables. Please do not donate expired cans or boxes as they will be thrown out.
