What's happening at the UUCG?
Feb. 20th - Feb. 26th, 2018 Tuesday, Feb. 20th- Staff Time sheets Due Thursday, Feb. 22nd - Book Club Book Club Meets every 3rd Thursday of the Month at, 1pm at "Your Place Coffee", 2308 W. 17th St, Greeley. Our Selection this Month is: "Never Caught" by Erica Armstrong. Anyone Welcome! Saturday Feb. 24th - "Bare Necessities Project Brunch" The Social Justice Circle will host a Potluck Brunch at 10 am at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Greeley, then sort and package the items collected for the youth and then have a short ceremony of gratitude. PLEASE LET MARGARET KNOW IF YOU WILL BE ATTENDING THE BRUNCH. WE WANT TO KNOW HOW MUCH FOOD WE'LL NEED. WE HOPE WE HAVE A LARGE GROUP! Sunday February 25th- “Cherish Your Doubts" Rev. Dana Lightsey We like to be sure about things and we like to know what to expect. It is comforting to be clear about our beliefs, yet there are times when our world-view is shaken and doubt begins to erode away our solid perspective. This doesn't usually feel like a gift, but it often is one of the best gifts life has to offer. RE: Rainbow Crow Sunday Coffee Volunteers needed! Please help! Other News and Reminders Social Justice Circle We Meet on the 2nd Tuesday of the Month. Next Meeting is March 13th, 2018 at 9:30 am. We are Currently working on "The Bare Necessities Project" The purpose of this project is to assemble a survival packet for homeless teens in Weld School Dist. 6. The packet will contain travel size hygiene items such as: hand sanitizer, wet wipes, tissues, shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, tampons, pads, razors, deodorant, comb or brush. (Most of these items can be found at the dollar store). So far, we have collected: 22 Razors, 18 Deodorant, 24 toothbrushes, 27 tubes of toothpaste, 47 chapsticks, 23 combs. Collection of items will begin immediately and continue until:Saturday Feb. 24th at 10:00 am. A Note From The Worship Committee Have an idea for a service?
