What's happening at the UUCG?
July 17th - July 23rd, 2018 Book Club Book club meets on the 3rd Thursday of the month, at 1 pm @ Your Place Coffee. Anyone is welcome to drop in, there is no specific selection for July 19th - instead share a little about the book you have read or are currently reading. If there is adverse weather in the area Book Club will be cancelled. Thank you! Sunday, July 22nd - “UUCG’s Gift to the DREAMers Scholarship Fund at UNC” Brian & Shelly Gaza Join Shelly and Brian for an overview of the DREAMers Scholarship Fund at UNC and how the Bloom gift will be used to help the students that this fund supports. RE: NO R.E. Chalice Arts / Judith Meyers Art If you have personal art works of Judith Meyers, and are willing to have them in display. Please check in with Kristina Bain, Diana Culver, or Sharlene Meydell, and make plans to bring the art to UUCG, for Saturday July 28th, 2018. The art will be displayed in the Sanctuary for August and September, 2018. Thank You! Other News and Reminders Social Justice NOTICE: HOMELESS DONATIONS ARE STILL NEEDED! The Social Justice Groupwill not be meeting in the summer but will continue The Bare Necessities Project by collecting clothes for the Greeley Clothing Bank. Haircuts, shoes, school supplies, oh, my! Make your life a little easier and let UUC Greeley get a percentage with Scrip cards. There is a new order form on the bulletin board which includes places to help with back to school: Target, Walmart, Payless, TJ Maxx, SuperCuts, and more. The order will be placed August 5th and the cards should be ready for pick-up that week! And, Sprouts is also included for those regular buyers. One is located by the North Entrance under our information station. The other is located in the Barbara Bowles Room by the East entrance. Fresh Farm Eggs For Sale Kathy Vaughn owns "Happy Chickens" Laying Fresh Farm Eggs! Those eggs can be found in the Fridge at the UUCG for $3.00 a carton. There is an envelope provided for your convenience! Please recycle your egg cartons by leaving them on top of the fridge..any cartons you might have. Thank You!! Looking for inspiration?
