Community Events this Week Pathways to Meaning & Membership Class This class is designed to go over some of the basic history of Unitarian Universalism. It also helps you to better understand our congregation and see how you my deepen your involvement. It also is a great opportunity to meet others who are new to our church as well, but also have an interest in becoming more involved. While it is not required for membership, I highly recommend that you participate in this class as a first step to considering membership. The class is offered about once every six weeks or so and taught by our minister, Reverend Aaron Norris. The class takes about 90 minutes and follows a service. Class Dates are as Follows: August 11th, 2019. Later This Month Events and Meetings Sunday mornings... July 7- Multigen- Mandala and Meaning Making. Come get renewed and regenerated by creating with others. July 14- Annual "Picnic" with Namaqua UU in Loveland. Bring a dish to share and carpool to Loveland for this service that starts at 10 am. Rev. Aaron Norris & Rev. Laurel Liefert will officiate. Sign up on the clipboard to carpool. Address is 745 E. 5th Street. Fermenting Spiritually Our monthly drop in 'spiritual symposium' is on Monday July 8th. We will focus on our monthly theme of Regeneration. Again this month we will meet at High Brau Tap House, 915 16th Street, Greeley at 6:00 pm. The discussions usually last about an hour and a half or a bit more. Buddhist and Meditation Classes Held at Unitarian Universalist Church of Greeley, 929 15th St, Greeley, CO 80631 the Second Tuesday of each month from 1:30-3 pm Classes: July 9, August 13, September 9, October 6, November 12. Free for the taking! Strawberry plants, raspberry bushes, garlic and oregano from our garden. You can dig what you'd like, or if you're physically unable to dig, Tim will dig it for you. Text Hollis at 970-590-3289 Clothing Drive The Social Justice Ministry will begin a clothing drive starting in July through the end of September, 2019. Please donate clean and wearable items. We except all types of clothing for all ages to be donated to the Greeley Interfaith Clothing Bank. We are also looking for business attire for women including, dresses, suits, slacks, shoes, purses and jewelry to donate to Leanna’s Closet. Please bring your items to church and deposit in the box provided. Thank you for you generous donations.
