SSS (Spiritual Stimulation and Support) Group Meets 2nd and 4th Tuesdays at 7:00pm in sanctuary:
Our SSS Group continues to be a lively group of spiritual seekers with stimulating discussions over the last 5 months.  We continue to meet in the sanctuary on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday evenings at 7pm (no childcare is provided).  ALL are welcome to join (even if you've never attended before).  People come and go as they are able.  Each session is a stand alone, and no preparation is needed.  Over the summer months, we are discussing articles from a book called "Humanist Voices in Unitarian Universalism."  We read 1-2 short articles, and then discuss. Are you curious about Humanism?  Please join us for this Adult Religious Exploration group!  Every voice adds depth and varied perspective to the discussions!!  Yours would be appreciated. Contact facilitator Marcia Free for questions at (Marcia.mae.free@gmail.com).

Chalice Arts
Don't miss the new Chalice Arts show! Photographs by Marybeth Coulter will be hanging in the sanctuary starting Mother's Day (May 14) and going through the end of June. Marybeth served as our church accompanist (2008-2010) and has worked in both photography and ceramics.

Youth Religious Education
This summer we will be having Fun Shops and Play Sundays. We need people to sign up to offer a story and a craft, or a special interest of yours that could appeal to the children. See the Clip-board in the foyer. Jill Koenig will be gone for the summer. Alondra Vera and one of her sisters, Sandra or Jessica, will be handling Childcare.

A Note from Sarah Gostenik
Sarah Gostenik is back from Greece! here is a message from her: "I felt good about what my team and I were able to accomplish in a short week in Greece, from bringing aid and distributing to many sites, helping the Greek economy by purchasing much needed items, like food, clothes, towels, shoes, toothpaste and toothbrushes, socializing with children through a Vakna art project and taking them to the Athens planetarium, purchasing a kitchenette at Ikea for a new women’s center (thanks Centennial Rotary Club of Greeley for the $500!), sorting donations, and cleaning up an empty lot, turning it into a garden space. Working with and volunteering with refugees helps me not take anything for granted. Refugees have gone through so much, yet I’ve never seen them cry, they stay strong and resilient and are quick to offer their smiles and space, along with food, tea or Coca-cola. Simple pleasures that can bring people together from all walks of life. Thanks again to everyone who gave support towards this trip, it's greatly appreciated!"

Grocery Certificate Volunteers Needed!
We are hopeful that several people will volunteer creating a team of volunteers with a coordinator so that the duties will not fall on one or two people all of the time. The coordinator or at least one volunteer should have access to a computer.
The grocery certificate service provides added revenue for the church, and works closely with the UUCG Treasurer and Board. Volunteers need to contact Rosemary, Hollis, or Margaret in the office.
