What's happening at the UUCG?
Oct. 2nd - Oct. 8, 2018
Build Your Own Theology (a UU way to do Adult Education)
Rev. Norris will be teaching every Tuesday for ten weeks starting October 2 at 6:00. Everyone 16 and over is welcome. Please signup by sending an email to Rev. Norris at firstname.lastname@example.org to save your spot. “Based on the assumption that everyone is their own theologian, this classic UU adult education program invites participants to develop their own personal credos, the fundamental religious beliefs, values, and convictions that inform and direct of their lives. [The sessions] pose five developmental tasks in which participants come to terms with human nature, ultimate reality, history, ethics and religious meaning. Begins with an introduction to our seven UU principles.” -Rev. Dr. Richard S. Gilbert, Course Author”.
October 7th- “The Price of Greatness”
Rev. Aaron Norris
What does it take to be great? Winston Churchill once chided Americans for their isolationist policies by reminding them: "Responsibility is the Price of Greatness."
Rev. Norris kicks off the monthly theme of responsibility with an exploration of what exactly one has to take responsibility for before we start considering someone or something great.

Pathways to Membership
Are you interested in joining the Unitarian Universalist Church of Greeley? Would you like to know more about how to join and what our community is all about? Rev. Norris hosts a Pathway to Membership class approximately every six weeks about 30 minutes after services. The class is approximately 90 minutes and reviews UU history and theology, the history and structure of UUCG, and some of the responsibilities and benefits of membership. It is also a great way to get to know others who are considering joining our beloved community. The next date is October 7.

We are happy to announce that UUCG will be once again providing space to Lutheran Family Services Refugee & Asylee Programs' Services Work Club once a week for job skills and technology education. Every Monday from 8:30am - 10:30am.
