Water Communion and Ingathering (September 8
Like many UU churches, our church year begins on September 8th this year with the annual water communion ritual. Bring a small collection of the water from your travels this summer or from an important moment in your life that you would like to share. (Symbolic water is fine too). Rev. Norris will be leading our celebration of the coming year. It will be the first time in several months that we will all be together.
Community Events Later in September
There will be no choir rehearsal this Sunday September 8th.
Choir rehearsal has started and everyone is welcome to join. Rehearsal is held every Sunday after service. Renee will be organizing a children's choir for UUCG and their first rehearsal will be October 6th at 9:30 in the morning before the service. The plan is for the children to perform on 10/27. So if there are any children interested, they would only have to come to two rehearsals and the morning of the performance date. All children are welcome!
If you're interested, please email Renee at email@example.com or text her at 970-658-6443.

Pathways to Meaning & Membership Class.
This class is designed to go over some of the basic history of Unitarian Universalism. It also helps you to better understand our congregation and see how you my deepen your involvement. It also is a great opportunity to meet others who are new to our church as well, but also have an interest in becoming more involved. While it is not required for membership, I highly recommend that you participate in this class as a first step to considering membership. The class is offered about once every six weeks or so and taught by our minister, Reverend Aaron Norris. The class takes about 90 minutes and are at noon on select Sundays. The next class date is September 22. If you're interested in attending, please RSVP to Rev. Aaron or follow this link.
