Looking for way to contribute to UUCG on Sundays? You don't have to speak in public or have the best voice in the world, as there are a number of ways in which you can help Unitarian Universalist Church of Greeley on Sundays.
Bring a snack for coffee/volunteer - Our volunteers not only make the coffee but they often donate their own dollars for snacks for coffee. You can also volunteer to help with clean-up.
Offer to shovel the sidewalks when it snows - The more, the merrier and it will get done quickly. Shovels and snow removers are readily available at the church.
Greet / Host - A warm smile and a "hello" are a wonderful start to any Sunday morning. Bulletins are printed and waiting. You help us take a tally on attendance and make sure our guests are contacted by board members or our minister.
Help with our AV team - We can always use some extra hands running our AV equipment - microphones, slideshows, videos & training is provided. Volunteers often are scheduled 1 time or less per month, based on availability. No AV experience necessary! We will provide training and be there to support you!
Special Music - Do you have some musical talent you would like to share? Please consider sharing it with us. It's always a treat to recognize our member's talents.

Our Faith Calls us to Gratitude When we remember that we are connected to all of creation, we are moved to a state of gratitude. We are not alone. Gratitude is a primary spiritual practice of Unitarian Universalists. In Unitarian Universalism, individual congregations receive no funding from the denomination. The work of each church is supported solely by its members. So if you are grateful for this church and what it has done for you and/or our community and world, we invite you to give.

Other Ways to Get Involved
Faith Flags Growing Please take the time to peruse our Faith Flags Notebook located near the name tags on the credenza. Take time to read the story behind each faith flag - it's creator and the meaning behind the flag. We have several in the works, so please do consider adding to our collection when you are ready. We will be occasionally featuring one of our faith flags on our Facebook Page, as well. So far, we have had people of all ages contribute to our work in progress, as well as contributors from out of state. We have had people utilize t-shirts, quilting, and a variety of materials to create their flags. Remember, it's about you and our faiths are just as unique as all of us. We do have material and painting kits available at the church, if you would like to utilize them. The kits can be lent out for two weeks at a time and we have 2 currently available (thank you, Julie Miller for the donation) otherwise, please feel free to create your own. If you are mailing it to us, please do include your name, age, and what the creation means to you. This will be posted in our notebook for future reference and years to come. Our flags are all about us and our faith community and all who have been a part of our history are welcome to contribute to the project. Take time to look at them and read about their meanings in the Faith Flag Notebook each Sunday.
Food Drive Please bring non perishable foods to church to distribute to the Weld Food Bank. Most needed items are peanut butter, tuna fish, beans, pasta, rice, canned fruits and vegetables. Please do not donate expired cans or boxes as they will be thrown out.
